1. Dangote Foundation – Community Development Services, Nigeria
We have been providing institutional, financial and operational advisory including setting up,
rollout and managing microfinance program in Nigeria on behalf of Dangote Foundation –
Community Development Services.
2. Mission d’Aide au Développement des Economies Rurales, Afghanistan
We provided Long-term Microfinance Advisory services to Madera –
Mission d’Aide au Développement des Economies Rurales – A French
International NGO. It has its operations across Afghanistan and we helped in
setting up a sustainable MFI. The assignment was for a period of four months
in Jalalabad, Kunar and Laghman provinces.
3. Microfinance Investment Support Facility for Afghanistan (MISFA), Kabul, Afghanistan
Parishkaar assisted MISFA in developing Environmental Safeguards for
its World Bank supported microfinance programme in Afghanistan. The scope of the assignment included
developing the environmental safeguards framework, reporting systems for MISFA and its 15 partner MFIs,
training module for the MFI staff on safeguards.
4. Indian Tobacco Company (ITC) Limited, Kolkata, India
Parishkaar conducted a study on "Transformational Impact Assessment" for ITC
in Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh. The objective of the assignment was to assess
the impact of ITC's social forestry programme on the social and economic indicators
of the tribal communities.
5. Bharat Integrated Social Welfare Agency (BISWA), Orissa, India
Parishkaar provided medium term advisory services to BISWA. The scope of the services incuded a comprehensive diagnostic assessment of the organisation, preparation of professional funding proposals and support in fund mobilisation.
6. Agriculture & Organic Farming Group (AOFG), Hyderabad, India
Parishkaar conducted an exhaustive analysis and business planning exercise for the farmer organisations promoted by AOFG in Andhra Pradesh. The scope of the services included preparing fund mobilisation templates, training AOFG personnel on proposal development and conducting assessment/business planning exercises with the farmers.
7. United Nations Development Programme & International Labor Organization, India
Parishkaar conducted an exhaustive “Financial Risk
Management Exercise” for ten different livelihood ideas in the Tsunami hit areas
of Tamil Nadu and Kerala under the Alternative Livelihood Project, implemented
by UNDP and ILO.
8. BAIF Research Foundation, Pune, India
Parishkaar provided medium term advisory services to BISWA. The scope of the services incuded a comprehensive diagnostic assessment of the organisation, preparation of professional funding proposals and support in fund mobilisation.
9. Spandana Sphoorty Financial Limited, Andhra Pradesh, India
Parishkaar conducted a “Customer Satisfaction Survey” for
Spandana, one of the largest Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) in India. The
study was carried out in Hyderabad.
10. Institute for Financial Management & Research (IFMR), Chennai, India
Parishkaar was contracted by Centre for Innovative Financial Design (CIFD) at IFMR to develop and implement lending operations for its project in Tumkur district of Karnataka. The activities included training, products & process design, MIS development, infrastructure set up etc required for the comprehensive roll out.
